AI SEO consulting helps a business explain its services and expertise clearly across useful content, technical access, internal links, and structured information. I help owners plan a website that supports traditional search and discovery through systems such as ChatGPT search, Perplexity, and Google’s AI search experiences.
Give each important question a useful answer
Start with the questions a prospective customer asks when deciding whether you can help. A service page should explain the problem, who the service is for, what the work involves, and the next step. Supporting articles can address a related decision in greater depth.
We organize those subjects into distinct pages so visitors can find the information they need. Keywords help describe the topic, but the copy should also contain practical detail, a clear point of view, and information about the person responsible for the advice.
AI SEO AEO and GEO in practical terms
AI SEO is often discussed alongside answer engine optimization, or AEO, and generative engine optimization, or GEO. The labels overlap. For a business owner, the useful work is to make the services, experience, and answers clear, keep important pages accessible, and maintain information that accurately represents the business.
Make the business and the content clear
Your name, business role, services, relevant experience, and contact information should be consistent across the site. Readers need to understand who is making the statements and what experience supports them.
For my own practice, that includes explaining the relationship between Dean Spinato, Idea Stream Marketing, ChatzyBot, and Commack Day. For a client, the equivalent work is to identify the facts, examples, and supporting material that accurately represent that business. Approved project evidence is especially useful when it explains the actual work and outcome.
Review technical access and page structure
Search systems need access to the pages before they can consider them as sources. The review can include whether important text is available to crawlers, whether each service has a stable URL, and whether the sitemap, canonical URLs, and indexing settings match the published site.
Different platforms use different crawler controls. ChatGPT search uses OAI-SearchBot, and Perplexity documents PerplexityBot for search discovery. Google Search and Gemini also have distinct controls. Those settings should be reviewed with the developer and hosting configuration, alongside any firewall rules.
Use schema to describe what is actually on the page
Structured data can describe a person, a service, a page, an article, or a set of visible questions and answers. It should use accurate facts and agree with the content visitors can read.
I help define which page types and relationships make sense, then provide a clear implementation brief. Schema is part of the information structure. It does not create expertise or secure placement in an AI response. We also keep the content and markup synchronized when the site changes.
What an AI search visibility engagement can include
The scope can combine content planning with a technical handoff for the team building or maintaining the site.
- A service-page and search-intent map with natural keyword themes.
- Page outlines, substantive copy direction, and useful FAQs.
- An internal-link plan connecting services, articles, and experience.
- An entity and schema plan based on verified business information.
- A crawler-access and indexability review brief.

Frequently asked questions
Can you guarantee my business will appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini?
No. These systems choose sources in different ways, and a technically accessible page is not guaranteed to be indexed, cited, or recommended. The work focuses on useful content, clear business information, accurate structure, and technical access that support eligibility and understanding.
Is AI SEO different from regular SEO?
The terms overlap. Google says foundational SEO practices remain relevant to its generative search experiences. An AI visibility review also considers the questions people ask conversationally, the clarity of answers, the way the business is identified, and platform-specific access controls.
Do longer pages rank better in AI search?
Length alone is not a useful target. A page should contain enough original, relevant information to help the intended reader make a decision. Some topics need a detailed explanation; others need a concise answer. We expand the substance of the page rather than repeating keyword variations.
Will FAQ schema create a Google FAQ search feature?
Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in May 2026. Useful visible FAQs can still help readers, and appropriate question-and-answer markup can describe that content. The implementation should not promise a Google FAQ display or an AI citation from adding the markup.
